| These pills were an early effort to kill bacterial infections, especially osteomyelitis. They were used with some success in the days before antibiotics. STANNOXYL PILLS are made of tin, and were produced by THE ANGLO-FRENCH LABORATORY of NEW YORK CITY. They were made in accordance to the methods of A. FROUIN and ROBERT & CARRIERE. This unopened, corked glass vial is 3.75" long and comes with its original display tube. This example dates to c1945.
