| When possible, we will include the PROVENANCE of an item. So here we go!....The year was 1988 when we received a call from a young couple in MT. LOOKOUT, OHIO, a wonderful community in CINCINNATI. Mt. Lookout had been incorporated into the city of Cincinnati in 1870. The couple was about to renovate a building in MOUNT LOOKOUT that had been an old pharmacy. We were told that FLYNN'S PHARMACY opened for business in 1880 and closed in the 1930's, a victim of the Great Depression. The basement and back room still had some contents from the old drug store. This is one of those items. This PARKE, DAVIS AND COMPANY case has superior graphics of a nurse holding a watch and the title FIVE SECONDS BY THE WATCH. It dates to c1910. Two corked glass vials remain. The case is 3" tall. Contents are sold only for collector purposes and must not be used in any way. | |||||||||
