| This very unusual and rare bottle is perhaps the only example extant. This old remedy was acquired from an Indianapolis, Indiana surgeon who had quite an extensive and varied medical and pharmacy collection. We have never seen another in 32 years of searching. If you have, please let us know! This c1880 bottle is 6" tall. It is still corked, boxed and unopened. PENN'S CHERRY HEROIN ELIXIR was made by THE PENN DRUG COMPANY of PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. It has dosage instructions for INFANTS, CHILDREN AND ADULTS! The bottle is embossed PENN DRUG COMPANY PHILADELPHIA. The original seal is still intact. Please note that this was an alcohol based remedy. The contents have evaporated, leaving only a small residue. NO CONTENTS. | ||||||||
