| This scarce mailer, containing four corked glass SAMPLE vials of ESTIVIN, was sent from the well-known company SCHIEFFELIN & CO. of NEW YORK CITY to MRS. E.W. DEGRAFF around 1925. SCHIEFFELIN & Co. was founded in 1794. The company was best known as a fine drug wholesaler and dealer in druggist sundries. The one and a half cent UNITED STATES POSTAL STAMP featuring PRESIDENT WARREN G. HARDING was the first 1.5 cent stamp. It was introduced in 1925, and was intended for THIRD CLASS MAIL. This wonderful set is complete with its four corked glass sample vials, original glass dropper and two identical fliers. The rubber bulb on the dropper has deteriorated. The mailer is 3.5"x1.75"x1/2". The corked glass vials are 1.5" long and are in outstanding condition. Although they are unopened, the contents have evaporated over the years.
