| This very scarce remedy was made by PARKE, DAVIS & COMPANY around 1900. This is a TRITURATE TABLET form of DOVER'S POWDERS, which were named for the English physician, Dr. Thomas Dover. This remedy was used to induce sweating, in a rather futile attempt to "sweat" out a cold or fever. It contained OPIUM, IPECACUANHA (which is used to prepare IPECAC), and SULPHATE OF POTASH. This outstanding boxed, corked bottle is 2.5" tall. No contents. Please be sure to see our other catalog listings. New items are added weekly. Thank you for visiting with us! | ||||||||
